There are 23 distinct subcategories under the EB3 visa, despite the fact that there are only three major categories (Professional, Skilled, and Unskilled).
EW3 is the designated category for newly arrived unskilled laborers. A few more noteworthy sub-categories are EW9 for spouses of EW3 holders, EW8 for unskilled employees changing status, and EW0 for offspring of EW3 or EW8 holders adjusting status.
It’s crucial to understand that your EB3-based Green Card will display one of these more specific EB3 subcategories and not just “EB3” under Category.
